Dick Bolles passed away in Spokane, Washington on 15 May 1998. He was born in
Libby, Montana on 07 Sep 1929
to Tux (Kenneth J. #2312) and Leila Mae Daniel Bolles .
His mother died in 1930 and Dick was raised by his Aunt Mae (Mary Helen) Bolles
Semmens (#2310) in the Victor, Montana,
Bitterroot Valley area. He graduated from Alberton Montana High School in 1947 and worked
for the railroad in various
capacities including as a signal maintainer. He retired from The City of Spokane as a Traffic
Signal Maintainer.
He married Aurla Rose Bierman of Darby, Montana on 30 Oct 1948 in Deerlodge,
Montana.
He is survived by his wife Aurla, sons Donald Richard of Denver, CO, Richard Lee of
Toledo, OR and Kenneth Winslow of
Spokane and daughter Aurla Mae Bolles McNeill of Kennewick, WA. Also brothers Robert
William Dedrick of Libby, MT
and Gerald Lee Bolles of Nine Mile Falls, WA along with several grandchildren, nieces, nephews
and cousins.
Dick was preceded in death by his Aunt Mae (1900-1998) and his father Tux
(1907-1968).
Dick was an avid gun collector, gunsmith, reloader and target shooter. He was extremely
proficient at repairing mechanical
equipment and enjoyed working in his well equipped machine shop.
